Where to Shop for Antiques – Flea Markets Springfield MO

One of the best parts about going to flea markets is the exciting potential for finding a hidden treasure or a diamond in the rough. If antiques are your thing, check out these markets that specialise in the sale and restoration (or repurposing!) of valuable artifacts from the past!

Springfield, MO is a historic city, and as such is a prime place to pick up a piece of history all your own and take it home.

Freakin’ Antiquin’ Vintage Market

Freakin’ Antiquin’ is a self-styled “vintage market” located at 2259 East Bennett Street in Springfield, MO. The vibe is predominantly antiques and handicrafts, and the market is home to over 85 booths playing hot to well over 70 regular vendors.

Stop by to enjoy over 10,000 square feet of shopping at fair prices. The market offers a mix of classical antiques and craftily re-purposed former “junk” that has received a new lease on life via art and creativity.

Founded in 2017 by a group of friends united by their love of “junk” antiquities and crafts, Freakin’ Antiquin’ has grown steadily and even successfully weathered the regular business closures caused by COVID-19 that saw the end of many flea markets and other small businesses.

If you’re in the Springfield neighborhood for an extended period, or are even local, Freakin’ Antiquin’ has even more to offer! If craft classes are your thing you will be pleased to know they offer them.

Spots sell out fast so be sure to follow them on facebook or subscribe to their newsletter to find out more!
